The Tramore Cliff and Mountain Rescue Team is currently recruiting new members.

The team has been proudly serving the community since 1978 and wishes to expand in 2012 to meet the demands both on the hills and the cliffs.

Each new member will be given a unique and exciting opportunity to train in a range of skills including:

• Search and Rescue
• Abseil and Climbing
• Navigation
• First aid
• Radio Communications
• Mountaineering
• Technical Rescue
• Off-road driving

The team also takes part in several other Irish Mountain Rescue operations such as supporting the Croagh Patrick pilgrimage and Multi-team rescue exercises.

All new members must be over 18 years.
